Business is whipping up nicely for Largs ice cream enterprise
Largs- based company Geraldo’s is going from strength to strength thanks to the bespoke business support from the Council’s Enterprising North Ayrshire team.
The family- run firm, formally award- winning Sugar and Spice, now specialises in artisan ice cream, handmade chocolates and premium spirits.
The support offered by Enterprising North Ayrshire, the team which provides business support at North Ayrshire Council, has included assistance with the firm’s business plan and advice from retail experts and marketing consultants.
Toni Dawson, owner of Geraldo’s, said: “I’ve had fantastic business support over the past year with the rebranding of my company.
“As a result of the rebrand, I have seen phenomenal success over the last few months, in fact sales in December increased by 25 per cent.
“The next step is to complete our branding by refitting the shop and launching our second gin festival.
