BeReady to get assistance

-

East Ayrshire Council have a range of support mechanisms in place to assist the business community and to attract investment.

Our newest business development programme, beReady, allows us to work with both new and established local businesses to build their capacity by providing tailored support through a comprehensive programme of workshops, training events and one to one consultancy support.

Working through the beReady programme helps companies assess their potential and access the expertise they need to grow and develop; make effective decisions; and adopt modern technologies and practices to maximise their efficiency and performance. A team of respected industry specialists is in place to lend their expertise and help us deliver the programme.

Following an earlier successful programme of workshops, we are repeating some of these workshops in the autumn to allow other attendees to participate.

Any East Ayrshire business can benefit from beReady and businesses may also be able to apply for financial support to help them implement the learning from beReady.

Complementing beReady, our Economic Development team also offers specialist vocational training and recruitment support, tailored to the needs of individual businesses.

For existing employees who live in East Ayrshire and meet the eligibility criteria, we can offer funding towards accredited training to allow them to gain a qualification.

We can also help with selection, recruitment and training of new employees and in some circumstances wage subsidies are available.

Our programme of work experience placements and Modern Apprenticeships has a great track record in matching employers and employees to give businesses the right people with the right skills for future success.
