A very smart way of working

-

Worksmart are a solutions based office interiors and office refurbishment company working all over Scotland and the UK.

Steve Neilson, managing director of Worksmart Contracts, said: “Since the start of Worksmart Contracts some 15 years ago Worksmart Contracts have always concentrated in B2B works.

“Working closely with existing and new end user clients in our multi- trade fast track interior fitouts and refurbishments, we work hand- in- hand with the clients and their design teams such as architects, designers, building surveyors, quantity surveyors, services engineers and structural engineers.

“Whether we are working in Ayrshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Manchester, London or indeed anywhere in the UK, Worksmart’s teams are all over the country. From our three offices in Kilmarnock, Edinburgh and Manchester, our teams are working for small, medium and large clients on a variety of projects.

“Regardless the size, complexity and value, Worksmart employ the same approach to ensure project success.”

Steve said of the company’s approach: “It is imperative to work as a team from the start of the project in B2B all the way through to the project completion to ensure design, specifications, quality, timescale and cost all meet and exceed their expectations.

“The relationships between the companies involved are so important to the success of the project and can very often be the difference between a good job and great job, or a good job and a bad job.

“The extended benefit of a successful project results in repeat business for Worksmart and also opens up opportunities to work on further projects with client’s design team members.”

Worksmart are long established in their memberships with the Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Manchester Chambers and active members supporting events such as Ayrshire Business Week.

In addition they have had the support of East Ayrshire Council and the beReady programme and Invest East Ayrshire which has created strong B2B relationships.

Worksmart have benefited greatly by initially working with the Business Gateway team many years ago and then being taken under the wing of Scottish Enterprise which has helped Worksmart go from strength to strength year on year, increasing the number of its employees and sub contractors.

Worksmart also work with sub contractors and supply chains all over the UK to facilitate fast and efficient quality fit- outs and refurbishments.

Apprentices, school leavers and graduates are also given opportunities to work with Worksmart.
