Robert and Jean Hamilton love to travel and sample cultures all over Europe.
The pair enjoy heading to the sun and soaking up different events, as they love art and music.
And with a wide variety of destinations on offer from Glasgow Prestwick, they can’t wait to head overseas in 2017.
Robert, 62, said: “We enjoy travelling, and Glasgow Prestwick offers us a fantastic variety of places to visit throughout the year.
“Our children have now grown up and left home, so it means that we’re able to get away and enjoy the things we’ve not always been able to do in the past.
“We’re not restricted through things like school holidays, so it means we can get away and take advantage of the great prices throughout the year.
“We love going to Barcelona and the Grec Festival is fantastic. It’s based in the Greek Theatre, which was built on a mountain, and the views are stunning. There’s always fantastic events on throughout the festival.
“We enjoy going further down the coast to Cambrils too - they’ve got a beautiful port, with lots of fresh fish restaurants on the coast. There’s so much to see there, and all kinds of entertainment going on.
“We went to Malta about 10 years ago and the fireworks were fantastic. They are well worth seeing, and it’s such a fantastic atmosphere that has to be experienced to be believed.”
