Prestigious prizes are all set for Trump Turnberry
The winners of Ayrshire’s most prestigious business award will be revealed this week at Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce’s Platinum anniversary dinner at Trump Turnberry.
The 2017 Business Excellence Ayrshire award has five leading businesses as finalists – Hugh King & Co., KCP Environmental Services, LMA Architects, Microtech Group and Russell Consulting ( Scotland).
Brian McGilvary of Spirit Aerosystems, chair of the judging panel, said: “On behalf of myself and my fellow judges it has another great year with a high calibre of entrants for the Business Excellence Ayrshire Award 2017.
“We have seen great examples of real hard working, customer focussed companies that Ayrshire should be proud of.
“Well done to each and every member of the finalist companies for their contribution towards this accolade. We are all looking forward to the announcement of the winners on Friday.”
Friday’s anniversary dinner is hosted by Ayrshire’s own Karen Dunbar and will include a surprise or two and performances from the hugely talented cast at Centrestage.
Charities who will benefit from the prize raffle on the evening will be Hansel, Centrestage, SeaScape and The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation.
Val Russell, Chamber Chief Executive, added: “Our chosen charities work extremely hard in the area and we are delighted to support them.
“We have a fantastic selection of prizes to be won on the night thanks to the kind support of many of our membership so we’re hoping to raise a big total for these four very worthwhile causes.”
The dinner is supported by Principal Sponsor First Independent Finance and secondary sponsor Barclays Bank.
