The Scottish Wedding Awards 2017 welcomed over 600 guests at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza hotel last week in a celebration of the Scottish wedding industry.

Winners are a true reflection of quality and customer service as they are chosen by members of the general public.

The black tie event was hosted by award winning radio presenter, Gina McKie, who welcomed on stage talented individuals and businesses who constantly deliver high- quality weddings.

The awards were split into local regions to ensure businesses from across Scotland are recognised.

Irfan Younis, CEO of organisers Creative Oceanic, said: “We are honoured and delighted to have such great finalists and winners representing the Scottish wedding industry and enhancing its reputation nationally and internationally.

“This was the fifth annual Scottish Wedding Awards. They are a true reflection of the talent in Scotland and we want to make sure that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.”

In addition, the awards supported the Well Foundation and the charity raised over £ 1000.

Wedding Specialist Supplier of the Year went to Mancini’s Italian Ice Cream in Ayr and Honeymoon Planner of the Year went to LAH Travel in West Kilbride.

Meanwhile, brides- to- be can help boost the Ayrshire Hospice funds at a new pop up shop in Kyle Street in Ayr.

For the month of March brides can find high- end bridal gowns at attractive prices.
