Talking benches

A string of talking benches are to be planted in Ayr town centre in a bid to drive tourism.

Audio clips from each century will form part of the heritage trail, set to be in place within weeks. Funding for the venture, which will include seven benches, has been provided by the Big Lottery’s Coastal Communities Fund.
