Time to look out your run shoes

A cancer charity has lined up top events as it celebrates 35 years of supporting people with the disease in Ayrshire.

The date has been set for the Ayrshire Cancer Support 6k Family Fun Run.

People can walk or run at the event on Sunday, April 30 along Ayr Esplanade at 11am.

Kids can dress up in their favourite costumes and Karen Murrie from GLOW Fitness will do the warm up. Adult entry £ 10 and kids pay less.

The charity hosts a pamper day at its base in Wellington Square on Saturday, April 1 from 10am to 4pm.

There will be reiki, reflexology, head and neck massage, mini facial and manicures and many more.
