Cock- a- doodle- DO for homeless Titch

Easter is coming and a desperate cockerel is seeking some chicks.

Miserable Titch the statuesque bird has been caged for more than a year.

He is stationed at the Ayr SSPCA re- homing centre and the charity has made a last ditch bid through the Ayrshire Post to find him some feathered friends.

The centre said: “Titch the cockerel is such a handsome boy and has settled in well.

“But we know he would love to be roaming with some lovely hens to keep him company as he’s starting to look very lonely.

“We’re desperate for him to get a second chance as he’s been with us for nearly 400 days.

“We are looking forward to hearing from anyone that is interested.”
