Soul music is so suite

Suite Soul returns to Kilmarnock next month with the first part of the year.

The succesful series has been going for more than a decade and will welcome DJ Al Kent of Million Dollar Disco to get things grooving for 2017.

People are expected to travel from across the UK to hear Al Kent’s popular selection of music, ranging from soul classics to disco numbers that will get the crowd grooving.

First catching the DJ bug when he became a Northern Soul fan, Al has gone on to license tracks for some of dance music’s biggest labels.

Bob Jefferies’ Suite Soul returns to the Park Suite at Rugby Park, home of Kilmarnock FC, on Saturday, April 1.

The event runs from 9pm until 2am, with a charge of £ 8 on the door - organisers warn soul fans to get down as early as possible.
