Glens boss won’t contemplat­e an Ayrshire final

Craig McEwan insists he’s not even thinking about an all- Ayrshire final despite Glenafton and Auchinleck being kept apart in the Scottish Junior Cup.

Glenafton will host Bonnyrigg in the semi- finals with the first leg on April 15/ 16 and the return a week later.

Auchinleck, who are chasing a 12th cup triumph, travel first to Linlithgow in a re- run of the 2013 final which Talbot won 1- 0.

Glens boss McEwan said: “All the talk is of an Ayrshire final but you won’t hear that from me. We are living the dream. No one expects us to be here but we’re in with the big boys.

“Managers mostly prefer the first tie away so it will be up to us to get the job done and then see what we have to do.”
