Paramedics hit by time delay

Paramedics now taken ten minutes longer to handover patients at Ayr Hospital than a decade ago.

In 2007 the transfers took on average 16.57 minutes. The last year to March was 27.29 minutes. Some handovers were over three hours.

Labour’s health spokesman said: “This is another example of a decade of SNP mismanagement of our NHS.”
