Rotary’s insight

Prestwick Rotary Club members were updated on The Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce by Development manager Helen McBride.

Helen gave a ver y informative talk on the organisation, which is privately funded by 820 Ayrshire based companies, ranging from sole traders to large companies with over 250 employees. Mike Kelly of Prestwick Rotary said: “The main reason companies join the organisation is to network face to face to secure new business. Speed networking seems to be particularly successful, with about 50 people given the opportunity to interface quickly with everyone else in the room.

“Helen is very enthusiastic in her role to inform, and to drum up more business for the organisation, and she received a hearty vote of thanks from Rotarian Edith Sterrick for a very wellprepared and delivered talk.”
