Help clean the Dean

Are you passionate about our parks? Get your wellies on and head to the Dean Park next Sunday!

East Ayrshire Leisure has arranged a clean up event at the castle and country park as part of National Volunteers Week.

Meeting in the main car park, you can help protect animals, fish, birds and plant life from the risks of litter.

A spokesman said: “You will send a message to other people that the park is for everyone and should be looked after - not a place to dump rubbish.

“You will also spend the day with like- minded people and you might just make a friend or two.

“It is an excellent way to spend the day as a single volunteer, group or family.”
