Romeo seeks Juliet

But he was rude

- Sarah Hilley

A sleazy Romeo shouted to a woman who was in bed with her partner how he wanted to have sex with her.

The lady was lying with her man when she heard Christopher Hunter’s 5.30am proposition.

The desperado also made strange noises during the incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Hunter, 50, landed in the dock handcuffed on Monday this week to face the music.

Depute fiscal Stephen McLean said Hunter bellowed his dream woman’s name, saying she was “beautiful.”

The fiscal said Hunter then roared more than once outside the flat about wanting to sleep with her.

The woman then woke her sleeping other half who heard the rumpus.

Police were called and found the shaken victim “upset and scared.”

Officers who turned up at Hunter’s place, found him putting on his jacket in anticipation of being arrested.

Hunter’s lawyer said: “The accused remembers little if anything of the events described by my friend.”

The solicitor described his client as an alcoholic who suffered from manic depression.

Hunter, of Ayr, pled guilty to repeatedly uttering remarks of a sexual nature towards the woman and behaving in a threatening and abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm.

Sheriff Desmond Leslie ordered Hunter to be kept in custody until his next court date next month while reports are prepared.
