Highlights include hometown heroes Seaside Sons taking to the stage at Ayr’s popular Treehouse bar for a stripped- back acoustic evening on Friday, kicking off at 9.30pm.

On Saturday night, Maybole will be rocking to the mod sounds of The Absolute Jam as the tribute to Paul Weller’s iconic group perform at the Town Hall, ably supported by rockers Dogtooth from 7pm.

Elsewhere, glam rockers Electric Warrior return to the stage for a night of retro rock and roll, featuring hits from the likes of T Rex and The Sweet, at The Wick in Prestwick.

In Kilwinning, respected rock group Badstone perform at the Alton Inn on Saturday, while another retro rocker swaps the Anchor Bar for Prestwick’s RAF Association Club in Just Like Eddie.

And there’s a special Sunday treat in store at The Wick in Prestwick this week, with rockers Badstone performing alongside some special guests in the beer garden.
