Holiday knife rap

A man is accused of seizing a knife after refusing to return a key at the Craig Tara caravan park.

Martin Clack has pled not guilty to shouting and swearing, grabbing the blade and failing to give back the key to employee David Winter at the Dunure holiday park.

Clack, 56, also denies asking his partner to film police officers who turned up during the alleged incident on June 16.

A charge states he pretended to the officers that he didn’t have the key in question. He is also charged with kicking police officer Martin Murray in the leg.

Clack, of Edinburgh, denied all three charges at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
