Pair deny attack on a female driver

A woman and man have denied punching a driver at the Whitletts roundabout.

Teresa McDowall, 37, and Billy McGarrie, 31, are accused of trying to get into Stephanie MCreadie’s motor as she drove along the Ayr roundabout.

The pair, of Kings Park, Ayr pled not guilty to seizing her by the hair and punching her head to her injury on June 12.

They are due to appear for trial at a later date.
