Teachers get techy

Primary teachers have been given a crash course in social media.

St John’s Primary teachers took part in a two- hour course in using Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn at Ayrshire College.

The course was the first offered to schools who use social media to communicate with parents.

Je n n i f e r Sambells, marketing officer at the college, said: “The session was really positive.”
