Cumnock roadworks

One of Cumnock’s busiest streets is set for 10 days of roadworks.

Glaisnock Street, from the junction at Hall Terrace to the one at Wylie Crescent, will be closed through the day from Monday, July 31.

Workers will remove the road surface and lay a whole new course, closing the street from Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm.

Drivers will be diverted to the Skerrington roundabout and onto the A76 Cumnockbypass, A70 towards Cumnock onto Ayr Road before re- joining Glaisnock Street and vice versa.
