New life in town

They’re breathing new life into a tired town centre arcade.

And FreshAyr officially opened the doors on their own creative corner on Saturday afternoon.

Empty units at Queen’s Court, off Newmarket Street, will be transformed as the group hope to inspire future generations.

They hope it can be Ayr’s answer to Glasgow’s Ashton Lane – and as these fantastic shots from Post photographer Iain Brown show, it looks like the culture hub is already a big hit.
