New BB hall opens

It’s the opening of a new Boys’ Brigade Hall in Troon, with Lord Lieutenant Major Richard Henderson and wife Frances among the VIP guests. Councillor Peter Convery can also be seen on the left of the picture. The new hall, next to the swimming pool, was built to replace an earlier facility that had to be demolished to make way for the Morisons supermarket.
