Straight from the horse’s mouth...

-

I hear there are a few jumps jockeys on the move.

Dale Irving who moved last year from the James Ewart yard to team up with Iain Jardine is now leaving Scobie and is on the move again to join Cumbrian trainer Maurice Barnes.

Inverness born jockey Alexander Thorne has amicably parted company with Lucinda Russell to become one of the stable conditionals with champion trainer Paul Nicholls while Borders lad Sam Coltherd is leaving his father Stuart’s employ to ride for Sue and Harvey Smith.

And finally Conor O’Farrell who has been based in the south for most of his career is heading north in search of more mounts and will be riding out on a regular basis for Mike Smith.

Well done Nino Pajovic. He tipped Rafa Cabrera Bella to win the Scottish Open at odds of 50- 1. And I believe he is taking up golf on the back of his win. FORE !!!
