Charlie Hunnam finally starts to show his Sons of Anarchy form in the world of films as he shines playing real- life British explorer Major Percy Fawcett.

Adapted from David Grann’s book, The Lost City of Z is a wonderfully shot trip into the jungle.

Don’t expect Indiana Jones- like derring- do and artefact- snatching, though, as this is an altogether slower, more character- based flick.

Joining Hunnam in impressing on- screen are the likes of Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller, Ian McDiarmid and new Spider- Man Tom Holland in a diverse ensemble.

But the near- two- and- a- half running time will test even the most patient of souls and very little happens for long periods.
