Glasgow Science Centre is calling on Ayrshire Life readers who want to tickle their taste buds and discover the science behind what you eat and drink at their next adults’ only Science Lates event.

You can make your own ice cream, discover the science of beer, meet the master brewer at Tennent’s and even taste a cricket at the event on the evening of Friday, August 4.

Broaden your food and drink horizons as GSC mixes up the perfect cocktail of intriguing, tasty science.

The Liquid Academy will be serving delicious cocktails in the lab that will put your sense of taste and smell to the test.

Make a sour dough starter to take home with The Little Sourdough Bakery.
