Concert date for Dalmellington Band

- Margaret Dunbar

Dalmellington Band Hall was buzzing with excitement recently when they held their first Dalmellington Brass Academy Summer School. Some twenty young musicians between the ages of 7 and 10 years were treated to 3 days of brass tuition and musical fun and games with volunteer Tutors and Band Members, Karin, Rebecca, Lynsay, Fiona and Ralph. Guest tutors Scott Kerr and Bethany McGrath came along to give the young people their professional knowledge and advice which was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all.

Any children who are interested in learning to play a brass instrument whilst having fun, are most welcome to come along to the Band Hall on Sunday

afternoons. Phone Karin McKenzie on 07525467327 for further information.
