It’s another fantastic week of gigs all around Ayrshire.

Saturday and Sunday sees the first Clamjamfry Music and Arts Festival at Annick Lodge near Irvine with two fantastic days full of entertainm­ent.

And on Sunday, Prestwick Cricket Club hosts six bands – including Badstone, Memphis, Debi Q Band, Wildcard and more – from 2pm as part of the fantastic Rock for Resources fundraiser for the Ayrshire Hospice.

Organist Frikki Walker, director of St Mary’s Episcopal Church in Glasgow, will play the fine Lewis pipe organ in Ayr Town Hall at noon on Monday as part of concerts organised by Fort, Seafield and Wallacetou­n Community Councils. Ayr Jazz Club returns next Friday with a performanc­e from the Vieux Carre Jazzmen, who hail from Tyne and Wear. They will take to the stage at Millbrae, home of Ayr Rugby Club, on Friday, August 18 from 7.30pm until 10.30pm. Tickets cost £ 8 on the door for members and £ 10 for non members.
