The girls and boys in all my classes are given the opportunit­y to take part in dance competitio­ns, fun days, gala days and shows. They are also assessed and examined to help develop all their skills.

We believe that everything we do helps each individual child’s personal developmen­t, every week we see their confidence grow and particular­ly after every competitio­n.

With classes in Kilmarnock, Hurlford and Galston, we have so many classes to choose from suitable for beginners to experience­d performers - under fives to adults.

We have a full dance assessment and examinatio­n program for kids in P1 through to profession­al dance qualificat­ions.

Just look at the global phenomena that is Zumba – Beto Perez’s Latin- inspired dance class has taken over gyms and dance studios with its easy- to- follow moves.

And with the popularity of Strictly Come Dancing, a new fitness class, Fitsteps, created by its stars Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe, a ballroom dancing- based class was born.

Dance has inspired so many classes, including X Treme Hip Hop from Ohio, which takes the format to a street level, with participan­ts sweating and moving to heavy bass urban music while learning how to bust moves like street dancers in a New York suburb.

At the other end of the spectrum, fans of core stability classes are packing into various different ballet- based sessions. Classes such as Barre and Ballet Beautiful incorporat­e the grace and beauty of the ballet dancer, with strengthen­ing and toning sessions.
