Country dancing can lead to a Military Tattoo show
With so many choices of activities and sports available for children, Highland Dancing is one that provides enduring benefits that reach far beyond learning the traditional dances of Scotland.
Children who choose Highland Dancing tend to excel in School.
It is one of the very few activities to exclusively use Cross- lateral integration to perform movements. Cross- lateral integration hard wires the brain for learning, improves academic skills, memory and increases the ability to concentrate.
Considered both a sport and an art form, Highland Dancing builds strong and flexible bodies, improves agility, coordination, balance and increases bone density.
Involvement in Highland Dancing fosters friendship, sportsmanship and perseverance.
It encourages problem solving and leadership skills.
It provides performance and competition opportunities where dancers learn to support others, respect all participants and become confident sharing their skills and talents for an audience.

Assistant/ Dance Captain of the Tattoo Dance Company. Eilidh is a former three time Champion of Champions, 10 time United Kingdom Champion, Eilidh holds British, Commonwealth and North American titles & amp; placed in the top 6 in the World Championships seven times.
