Tickets on sale at the door. Memory Cafe Remember the Memory Cafe – held in Portland Church Hall on Tuesday, September 5 from 1pm to 3pm. Bring along a friend or relation who is having memory problems and enjoy coffee and a chat in a relaxed atmosphere. Organised by Ayrshire and Arran Health. Volunteers OXFAM – Join the Team – Volunteeri­ng is an ideal way to improve language skills, make new friends and gain confidence. By volunteeri­ng in either of Oxfam’s shops – 49 Academy Street and 9b Church Street, you become part of the community and provide much needed staff. Open Days The Ayrshire Doors Open Days will take place throughout Ayrshire on Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3. Leaflets are now available in Troon Library detailing the participat­ing buildings. Creative Creation Station is open to young children in St Meddan’s Church Hall at the following times and dates: Babies 17 months plus 9.45am. Babies six months plus 11am and 1.30pm.
