Gordy scores his first win

BROOMHILL COARSE AND FLY Gordy Taylor is celebrating his first event win after taking the Harvey Maule Frenzee Summer League with only one point.

The Wednesday match doesn’t get any closer with Nick Howe and Gordy Taylor both weighing in 40lb 7oz.

Fly Water: Still lots of fish getting caught with top rods recording 19, 21 and 26 with the best flies being rabbits and owls.

Coarse loch still catching carp, bream and roach. Sharon had a good couple of hours on the pole and had a good catch of roach and rudd. BURNS TROUT FISHERY The fishery will be holding the Bob Lind Memorial Singles Open Fly and Bait Competitions on Sunday, September 10 from 8am to 4pm.

Cost £ 15 for four fish. Heaviest bags in fly and bait and junior, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all three competitions.
