Little Eva nets six of the best
SPRINGWATER FISHERY
Fly loch continues to fish well. Derek Russell had a good weekend, releasing 15 on Saturday and another 24 on Sunday.
It was another good weekend for Neil Shankland who released 11 on Saturday and eight on Sunday.
Other catches: John Brown c/ r eight, Davie Howie c/ r eight, Davie Galloway c/ r five.
Bait loch: Another angler having a good weekend was Davie Kernachan who caught six on Saturday for 14lb and four on Sunday for 9lb 4oz.
Other catches: Tigger three for 6lb 8oz, John Hannaway three for 6lb 10oz, Davie Kernachan ( third visit) six for 13lb 4oz Tigger, second visit three for 7lb, John Dunlop four for 8lb, Ricky three for 7lb and eight- year- old Eva McAtee who showed everyone up, catching six for 13lb 8oz.
Coarse loch was very quiet. Jimmy Smith had two carp, biggest 9lb, still catching plenty of silvers.
BURNS TROUT FISHERY
The Dillets AC visited and caught 10 fish.

BROOMHILL COARSE AND FLY
Coarse fishing starting to slow down as water temperature gets colder. Anglers can still catch but mainly on the rod and not the pole. Best baits are bread and sweetcorn.
Fly pond: Fishing well with lots of fish getting caught up to 14lb. Fraser Mainland released 21 on Saturday.
More rainbows got stocked from 10lb to 14lb. Well done to Ryan Sharkey and Mick Davidson who are the latest anglers to go in to the top 16 of the Winter Knockout.
Bring your wellies as part of the fishery is quite muddy due to the wet weather and traffic.
