Great fun at coffee day

Oldies but goodies from across South Ayrshire braved the wild, stormy weather for their annual coffee morning.

The Opportunities in Retirement group from Ayr hosted the event at the Auld Kirk Hall in Ayr, and there was no shortage of volunteers to lend a hand with service.

And they weren’t short on treats, with many members bringing baking and cakes, or tombola prizes thanks to generous donations.

Entertainment came from the OiR group’s own folk club on a great friendly morning, raising £ 1,612 for the much- loved organisation.
