Dalduff warned

-

A farm shop has had a food improvement notice slapped on it due to “recurring noncompliance.”

Dalduff Farm at Crosshill had already been told its food safety management system does not reflect its new setup during routine visits stretching back to 2015..

South Ayrshire Council wants to establish the operational structure at the business, including the shop and wedding barn.

It has also been warned on a number of defects and some out- of- date goats cheese.

The surface behind the chopping board in the butchery is damaged as is the ceiling in the kitche above the boiler. During the visit on October 5, goats cheese with a use by date of September 28 was discovered in the fridge.

Seals on a fridge were defective, allowing mould to build- up.

And there were no hand washing facilities available in the BBQ area.
