Geographical society inspiring talks at hall
The Ayr Group of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society is hosting their second talk in theInspiring People series on Wednesday ( October 25) in Ayr Town Hall, at 7.30PM.
The talk features Luke and Hazel Robertson who this summer journeyed across Alaska by foot, bicycle and kayak in an expedition to see for themselves the changing environment brought about by human interference and climate change.
The talk is open to anyone, free to members of RSGS, under- 18s and students, £ 10 to non- members
The next Travellers talk organised by the Ayr Group of RSGS will be on November 8, also in the Council Chambers at 7.30pm. There will be two short talks for the price of one. Corinne Barr, from Prestwick will be speaking about her visit to the fascinating Russian city of St Petersburg. Liz
Rhodes from Ardrossan will be describing her visit to Newfoundland.
Finally, the November Inspiring People talk will be titled “Walking the Holy Land “with Leon McCarron, on November 22, with a change of venue to Kyle Academy.
