Baby hit charge

A man is due to stand trial charged with attacking a four- month- old baby girl.

Frank Agnew , 27, denies striking the baby on the head with an unknown object - causing her to be injured.

A court document said the alleged assault took place on January 10, 2015 in Russell Drive, Ayr.

Agnew, of Eriff Road, Bellsbank, is due back in court next month.

He will face trial at a later date.
