St Med­dan’s Church Guild are hold­ing a Christ­mas Cof­fee Morn­ing in the Church Halls on Satur­day Novem­ber 18 from 10am un­til 12noon.

There will be a va­ri­ety of Christ­mas stalls in­clud­ing Bot­tle, Bak­ing and Books. Tick­ets at the door priced £ 2.50.

The Rum­mikub Group meet in Troon Li­brary ev­ery Wed­nes­day from 12.45pm to 2.45pm.

Rum­mikub is a tile- based game for 2 or 4 play­ers com­bin­ing el­e­ments of the card game Rummy and Mahjong.

The AGM of Friends of Fullar­ton will be held in the Muir­head Ac­tiv­ity Cen­tre on Wed­nes­day Novem­ber 22 at 7pm. Come along and find out what we do in Fullar­ton Woods. Vol­un­teers needed.

Troon Talks present The Light Pro­gramme an evening of nostalgia in words and mu­sic by Stanza in Troon Old Par­ish Church on Satur­day Novem­ber 18 at 7.30pm. Tick­ets are priced £ 10 with con­ces­sions £ 8.

This year Re­mem­brance Sun­day will be ob­served on Novem­ber 12.

Wreaths, pop­pies and mem­o­ra­bilia can be pur­chased on Satur­day Novem­ber 4 and Novem­ber 12 at Troon Old Church h Hall from 10am to noon.

The Pa­rade in­clud­ing mem­bers of the Royal Bri­tish Le­gion and all ex- ser­vice per­son­nel will muster at the play­ground of Troon Pri­mary School be­tween 10.05 and 10.15am.

The Pa­rade will fol­low its usual route through the town cen­tre ar­riv­ing at the War Me­mo­rial just be­fore 10.45am. There will be a Ser­vice at the War Me­mo­rial with the Salute taken in front of Troon Town Hall.

The Arts So­ci­ety Ayr­shire will meet in the Walker Hall on Mon­day Novem­ber 13 when Michael Howard FRSA will give a lec­ture on David Hock­ney: A Cer­tain Gen­eros­ity of Spirit.

The lec­ture cov­ers the jour­ney of David Hock­ney’s life from Brad­ford to Lon­don; to New York and Los An­ge­les; back to York­shire and his re­turn to Los An­ge­les. Meet 1.15pm for 1.30pm.

Troon Flower Club meet in the Walker Hall on Novem­ber 29 at 7.30pm . Derek Arm­strong, na­tional demon­stra­tor from Carlisle will re­veal “At Home for Christ­mas”. As this is the club’s Open Night there will be a well- stocked sales ta­ble with a va­ri­ety of Christ­mas ar­range­ments for sale. Visi­tors wel­come. Tick­ets £ 10 on door .
