Dress up fun to raise cash

Staff and pupils at Belmont Academy raised an impressive £ 600 towards their school rewards – and raised the hairs on the back of a few necks in the process.

The school hosted a fancy dress fun day on October 30 as they held a film and fiction dress up day to help raise money for the House Reward Days.

The fun involved prizes for the best costumes, face painting and tasty doughnuts at lunch time.

The Day also involved a karaoke in the assembly hall.

Teachers and pupils all got involved and were in fine voice and they agreed that a great time was had by all.
