Kirstin golden in Illinois
Ayr Seaforth star Kirstin Oakley continues to make her mark in America.
The former Prestwick Academy pupil is plying her trade in NCAA Division 1 with her team from Bradley University, Illinois, the Bradley Braves.
Kirstin, 18, was in the team of eight which won the Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Championships for the third time in four years after a second place finish last year.
Next up is the Midwest Regional Championships in Ames, Iowa.
