Calum is to the four
Carlo Walker insisted his goal kings – 33 from nine games – could have scored more as they mauled Muirkirk.
Calum McDaid grabbed four, including two from the spot, but was denied a third penalty when he was booked for simulation.
Lewis Gardiner opened the floodgates after two minutes and added another midway through the half as Maybole eased to a 4- 0 interval lead.
John Lowe, Damien Bloy and Ross Clark were also on the mark in a one- sided goal rout.
Muirkirk sent on sub keeper Jack Cunningham five minutes into the second period and the newcomer made some good blocks to keep the score down.
Muirkirk’s consolation came from sub David Edwards who ignored offside calls to net with 17 minutes left.
Walker, who is chasing two signings, said: “Calum hasn’t been available due to work so it was great to have him back.”
