Wintertain­ent – this Sunday November 19 Uncle Billy will hold two Magic Shows in St Patrick’s Primary. The first will be from 1pm to 2pm and the second from 2.15pm to 3.15pm.

There will also be face painting, nails, tattoos. Hot food will be served.

Family Entry will cost £ 5. Adults £ 2 and Children £ 1.

A meeting of Troon Arthritis Group ( TAG) will be held in St Meddan’s Church Hall on Wednesday November 22 at 2pm. The Guest Speaker is a member of the Community Action Team – Fire Brigade – and the topic

will be “Home Fire Safety”.

Troon Cycle Friendly Town – A Public Forum will be held in The Cabin South Beach on Saturday November 18 to discuss what the public want in the Troon area to improve walking and cycling infrastruc­ture. Under discussion are improvemen­ts which would make walking and cycling safer and encourage people to walk or cycle to schools, shops and local facilities. The Open Forum is from 11am to 1pm.

Barassie P6+ Youth Club is held on Monday nights from 6pm to 7.30pm. In Barassie Primary . Come along, Chill Out, enjoy games and sports.

There is also a Youth Club held in Muirhead Primary School for P6+ every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7.30. pm.

St Meddan’s Church Guild are holding a Christmas Coffee Morning in the Church Halls on Saturday November 18 from 10am until 12noon.

There will be a variety of Christmas stalls including Bottle, Baking and Books. Tickets at the door priced £ 2.50.

A new Rummikub Group meet in Troon Library every Wednesday from 12.45pm to 2.45pm. Rummikub is a tile- based game for 2 or 4 players combining elements of the card game Rummy and Mahjong.

The AGM of Friends of Fullarton will be held in the Muirhead Activity Centre on Wednesday November 22 at 7pm. Come along and find out what we do in Fullarton Woods. Volunteers needed.

Troon Talks present The Light Programme an evening of nostalgia in words and music by Stanza in Troon Old Parish Church on Saturday November 18 at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £ 10 with concession­s £ 8.

The next meeting of Troon Flower Club at the Walker Hall is Wednesday

November 29 at 7.30pm . Derek Armstrong National Demonstrat­or from Carlisle will demonstrat­e At Home for Christmas . As this is the club’s Open Night there will be a well- stocked sales table with a variety of Christmas arrangemen­ts for sale. Visitors will be made very welcome. Tickets are priced £ 10 on sale at the door on the evening of the demonstrat­ion.
