Seniors and ladies lead the way

Auchinleck seniors beat Allander 92- 40. Scores: S Moore 16, A Pollock 14; W McArthur 20, I Steven 7; J Fleming 19, J Young 6; E Duncan 37, J Irvine 13.

The ladies beat Blantyre 110- 56. Scores: M Shimmons 27, C Walker 17; C Johnston 34, M Cunningham 10; H Kay 14, C McLellan 18; J Williamson 35, E Young 11.

The gents lost 89- 59 away to Prestwick.

Eddie, Duncan, David Weir, David Jagodowski lost by two shots in the last end to Prestwick in SIBA Senior Triples at Inverclyde.

Jean Sykes beat Blantyre 21- 13 in SIBA Ladies Senior Singles at Inverclyde while Liz Hume and Margaret Bingham beat Paisley 18- 12 in playdowns of SIBA Ladies Senior Pairs.

In the SIBA U18 Singles playdowns at Glasgow, Stephen McAllister lost out in the last game to qualify for knockout stages.

The SIBA U21 singles playdowns were held at Dumbarton where Stephanie Wallace also missed out.
