Returning customers are the key to success

-

It demonstrates confidence in a company when customers return with new business again and again.

That’s exactly what Mr and Mrs Birney of Saltcoats did when they got Tom Callaghan Windows and Conservatories Ltd on the case.

Mr Birney said: “We retired from Glasgow to Saltcoats; we were happy with our new house but as we were retiring we decided to have everything done the way we wanted.

We found Tom Callaghan and saw that they had a showroom and went down to visit, where we were impressed with the materials they used.

“We got a good feeling when we first met Tom.

“We were impressed by his friendliness and were comfortable with the company right from the start.

“We did look at other companies but we were keen to keep our business local.

“We originally bought a conservatory, but while that was being designed we also bought good security doors for the front and side of the house.

“This led us to renew all of the windows, followed by the porch.”

The couple were full of praise for the service they received during the sales process, saying: “Tom was informative; he kept us up to date on everything and explained how things worked. He gave us a lot of good advice.”

The Birneys were also delighted with the job done by the fitters: “The installation team were first class.

“We had fitters, brickies, electricians and plumbers out; all of the tradesmen Tom uses are very polite and keen to get on.

“Everyone seemed to be a valued member of the team. And the after sales care has been brilliant: we’ve had a few minor snags and every time it has been sorted with a single phone call.”

When asked what they thought of the finished product, the Birneys said: “We’re delighted with it.

“We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company to anyone else.”
