Group aim to inspire at meeting
Would you like some inspiration to help fuel that ‘ the world is my oyster’ voice in your head?
The Royal S c o t t i s h Geographical Society ( RSGS) could be the answer.
The group holds its first Travellers Club talk of 2018 on Wednesday January 17, in the Council Chambers, Ayr Town Hall at 7.30pm.
We l l t rave l l e d a n d entertaining speaker, Ian Geddes will be describing his recent visit to Myanmar, Burma.
Fully illustrated with his own photographs, he will discuss the towns, temples and villages which he visited on his way towards the city of Mandalay.
Entry is £ 2.50 to members of RSGS and OIR, free to under 18’ s and £ 4 to non- members.
Later in the month, the group will continue their series of Inspiring People with a talk from young adventurer Charlie Walker.
Charlie will be speaking on “Following the Line- an eight month Eurasian Triathlon.”
His talk will take place on Wednesday January 31.
