The Ayrshire Post has teamed up with Ayr’s hottest new venue to offer readers a free brew.
It follows the highly anticipated opening of the new Tim Hortons restaurant near Whitletts Roundabout.
Hundreds flocked to be first in line to sample the iconic Canadian brand’s famed coffee and baked goods.
Their signature bite- sized Timbits doughnuts proved particularly popular amongst guests, with the lunchtime opening drawing a massive turnout throughout the day.
Nearly eight out of 10 cups of coffee sold across Canada are served at Tim Hortons.
Since opening its first store in Glasgow in June 2017, the booming chain has continued to expand across Scotland with the opening in Ayr marking the brand’s sixth restaurant in the country.
Kevin Hydes, chief finance and commercial officer of the Tim Hortons franchise in the UK, said: “We’re delighted to have brought our Scottish expansion to the beautiful town of Ayr and can’t wait to welcome even more guests from the local community.”
