Our little winners are smiles better

Families’ joy as winners are named

- Stuart Wilson

Meet Ayrshire’s cutest kids.

Our search for the bonniest babies and biggest smiles cast the net far and wide.

And now, after a fiercely contested public vote, the winners can be unveiled.

Our champions each receive a photoshoot with Photo Studio Ayr and a 20x30- inch canvas – a prize worth £ 165.

Ayr twins Leo and Jax Ferguson, aged eight months, won our youngest category ( 0- 9 months).

Proud mum Laura, 27, said: “It’s the first time they’ve ever been entered in something like this so we’re thrilled.

“We were thinking about getting a photoshoot done for the boys so this has come at a great time.”

Little Zara Lisett, age 18 months, was a popular winner in our 9- 18 months category.

Beaming mum Holly, a director at Caledonian Windows, said: “We’re over the moon.

“Zara has never been in any cute baby competitions, so to win is fantastic.

“All of our friends and family were voting so it has paid off.”

And wee Isla Fitzsimmons, age three, from Drongan, completes our line up of winners.

She scored top of the 18 monthsthree years age category.

Mum Kirstin, 22, said: “You don’t expect to win when you enter these things so we’re surprised and delighted.”

Post editor, Gary Fanning, said: “We’d like to thank all those who entered the competition in great numbers.

“Everyone is a winner in their own right and we hope those who topped the poll enjoy their prizes.”
