Prestwick Angling Club held it’s open day on Sunday, April 22. Heaviest bag was won by Bill Gibson for 9lb 8oz netting him £ 60. William Hiddleston got second heaviest with 9lb 3oz for £ 40 and the heaviest fish was caught by Jim Gillespie for a £ 20 prize.

Coarse Loch: Fishing well. Scouse had a catch of roach and small carp for 40lb; Nigel fauld also had a good net of carp and Chubb for 35lb; a big well done to Cameron Dodds on catch a mirror carp of 21lb; Ian Eastwood released 9 carp and 11 bream; Ben Jenkins and Tom from wales had carp to 14lb 8oz and also a cracking grass carp of 13lb.

BROOMHILL

Well done to Gary Black and Gordy Taylor the latest two Anglers to secure their place in the Broomhill Bonanza Final after finishing 1st and 2nd at Sundays Qualifier. Gary weighed in 25lb with Gordy 22lb. Good luck in the Final.

Fly Pond: Top Rod last Week was Frasier Mulholland releasing 37 on Buzzers with Alex Alison releasing 30 on Dries.
