Wrestling big names are in town
More of British wrestling’s biggest names are set to collide in Ayr this weekend.
Pro Wrestling Elite returns to Ayr Town Hall on Saturday, May 5 with a whole host of fan favourites heading through the ropes.
A stacked card will include the likes of PWE Heavyweight champion ‘The Prestigious One’ Joe Hendry, Elite rumble winner Kenny Williams, Jack Jester, Wolfgang, Mikey Whiplash and many more.
And Wolfgang is set to take on Whiplash in one-on-one action, in what should be a wrestling masterclass.
BT Gunn will do battle with Charlie Sterling, and tag team champions Polo Promotions will put their belts on the line.
They defend the gold against The Govan Team, consisting of Ravie-Davie and his cousin Zander.
Another confirmed match will see former Heavyweight champion Iestyn Rees in singles action against Andy Wild.
Williams will confront his opponent at the anniversary show in July, PWE champ Hendry, in which he will put his title shot from winning the Elite Rumble to use.
Promoter Adrian McCallum said: “This is set to be a great night for everyone who’s coming along.
“The shows are always full on thrills and spills, with action packed excitement from the first bell to the last.
“It’s guaranteed to be a night of entertainment for all the family.”
