Bait Loch: Gary Cree one fish 12lb brownie; Mr Devlin 2 for 6lb; Callum 3 for 7lb; Mr Welsh 2; for 4lb 8oz; Davie Kernachan 2 for 5lb; John Allerdyce 3 for 7lb; Wee Brian 2 for 5lb 3oz. Coarse Loch: Nigel Faulds and crew had a good day catching bream; Josh Hunter caught a 3lb roach. Carp still getting caught along with some cracking roach.

Prestwick Angling Club held its fly competition on May 2. The winner was Will Payne 2 fish for 4lb 8oz. Runner up was Neil Mcginn 1 fish for 1lb 12oz. Well done to Nick Howe winning Sunday’s match with 42lb , 2nd Gary Black 32lb & 3rd John Cally 26lb; Ian Eastwood had 50 Carp with 6 of them nearly 10lb but the biggest went to Stuart McCowan with a13lb Common Carp caught on the Pole. Round one of Summer League takes place this Sunday. Fly: Still fishing great especially with Dry Flies and you only catch Trout as there’sbb no Silver Fish resident. Every Wednesday it’s only £ 10 for 8 x Hours C& R. Every Thursday from 6pm till 10pm is the Dry Fly Only Competition. Open everyday from 8am.
