‘ The Price of a Fish Supper’, as Rab knows all too well, is not just a case of hard economics. It’s also a story about the human suffering at the heart of this most hazardous of traditiona­l occupation­s.

This one- man play is at once tragic and funny, holding out, by the end, the faintest glimmer of hope for the future.
